Areas of Focus
Wherever you are on your journey - exploring, self-identified, or formally diagnosed - let's continue the journey together. You'll find an atmosphere of respect and understand for your sensory and communication differences.
You may have been diagnosed as a kid, later in life, or are still figuring it out. Let's work with your brain, not against it.
It's hard finding an environment that understands your needs and is soothing enough to feel comfortable. Your sensory and emotional needs will be supported here.
Stressful experiences as a child, life-threatening events, and living with chronic stress or in a world not made for you can all land as trauma in our bodies. With gentle and respectful guidance you can start to heal.
My Clients
My clients are ready to learn who they are, do the work, and heal the stuff. They're ready to do this with a therapist who gets it and in an environment where they feel welcome and comfortable.

They Experience
My clients have been called "too sensitive" and "too much." They're easily overwhelmed, often anxious, and are in or nearing burnout. They struggle to understand and communicate their emotions. They think deeply and thoroughly. They may have the question, "what's wrong with me?" floating around their head. They may be in the early stages of discovering their Neurodivergence or much further down than path.

They Want
They want to learn more about their identity and who they really are. To understand and communicate their emotions. To feel understood and supported. To heal old wounds. To be able to "go inside" and connect to their inner experience. To cope with the overwhelm of life and take care of their needs. To recover from burnout

I Can Help
I can help with discovering and learning about being Neurodivergent. To better understand and communicate your emotions. To build a relationship with your inner world, connect the dots, and find healing. Use creativity, imagination, and mindful awareness. Feel seen, heard, and understood. I use an IFS / "parts"-based therapeutic approach.

Meet Rayne
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Welcome! I’m Rayne, the owner of The Self-Care Spot and a therapist in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I’m glad you found me and I hope to offer some help. I see my clients virtually throughout TN and in-person at my office in Murfreesboro.
To give you a snapshot, I work best with clients who identify as being Neurodivergent. That means, they often think, feel, and experience the world a bit (or a lot ) different from others. This might include being Autistic and/or ADHD or being a Highly Sensitive Person. Chances are high they've also experienced trauma or chronic stress throughout their life.
I am an IFS therapist. My approach is emotionally focused and seeks to understand and build a relationship with your inner world. My passion is helping others live authentically and experience peace within.

"You work so hard to fix yourself, but maybe what you need isn't another tactic, another book, another five-step plan. Maybe, you don't need to be fixed. Maybe, what's really holding you back is the idea that you need to be fixed."
