Individual Therapy
What is Individual Therapy?
-
One on one therapy between you and your therapist.
-
This time is dedicated to you and your personal goals.
-
You will likely meet for about 50 minutes once a week or every two weeks.
-
Your therapist will create a plan with you that will help you reach your goals and make the progress you are seeking.
-
Time is spent talking about and processing what is important to you, as well as learning new information and coping skills to help.
-
Your therapist will help guide you in understanding and communicating about and to your inner world.
-
The experience is collaborative and experiential, meaning you will get to experience the healing and growth hands-on in therapy.
-
Your therapist is there to help and guide, but you are in charge.
